REBEKKA RUÉTZ at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Fall /Winter 2016

Rebekka Ruétz was born in 1984 in Tirol, Austria where she lives and works. Since her early childhood she dreamed of a career as a designer and finished her studies as Best-Graduate at AMD Akademie Mode & Design, Munich in 2008. She gained inspiration and experience during her studies in India and her work for PETER PILOTTO in England. Thereupon she founded her own eponymous fashion label in 2009.

Rebekka Ruétz is known for extreme and remarkable creations and the efficiency to combine exceptional materials. In her collections Rebekka Ruétz creates fashion for the modern amazon. Rebekka Ruétz won the Cognos Relevance Award in 2008 and the Best Newcomer Award presented by STEFFL in 2013. In July 2011 Rebekka Ruétz presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin for the first time.

LOUISE FRIEDLAENDER at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Fall /Winter 2016

Born and raised in Cologne, Germany, Louise Friedlaender pursued her childhood dream of becoming a fashion designer, when moving to Berlin in 2009 to study at ESMOD College of Arts for fashion. During her studies she successfully finished an internship at Senselier, a product design and marketing strategy company for perfume as well as an internship at fashion label Capara in Antwerp. She graduated with a diploma in fashion design and pattern making and was chosen among her peers to show her diploma collection at the London Graduate Fashion Week. The young designer also won a prize at the Baltic Fashion Awards.

After this success and all the astonishing feedback, Louise Friedlaender decided to expand her knowledge and follow her strong passion for accessories, when starting to work for a leather saddler and fine bag maker in Berlin. Back then she decided to start her own eponymous Label. LOUISE FRIEDLAENDER, a Ready-to-Wear fashion label for women, was founded in 2013

A label with heart and mind „inspired by the world“ and completely „made in Germany” – cross-generational and at the cutting edge.

“I tell stories with my collections, which are emotionally touching me. My creations are made for modern women, who fill different roles,” says Anja Gockel about her work. “They cope different appearances during the day – from the internal meeting, the conference until the after work cocktail. My fashion stands for an extraordinary appearance and femininity.”

In May 2015 Anja Gockel set up her flagship store in the downtown Cologne. The special feature is the multi-label concept of the designer: with selected and adapted accessories the client is dressed “head to toe” perfectly suiting the collection.

The Berlin based designer and her emponymous label MALAIKARAISS stand for sophisticated yet casual women´s wear  with a fun-feminine twist. With great attention to detail, Malaika and her passionate team create contemporary ready-to-wear fashion and accessories. Over the past two seasons, high-end fashion jewelry has become a major part of the collection.

Since 2010 MALAIKARAISS is presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.

Dorothee Schumacher is firmly convinced that the true strength of women lies in their femininity. This has been the message from her very first collection which was presented in 1989. Her exclusive feminine tops had little to do with the masculine power dressing back then. Drawing on this idea, DOROTHEE SCHUMACHER evolved to become a ready-to-wear label with an international presence over the past two decades.
