Since 1999 Kirsten Albers is head of design at BLACKY DRESS BERLIN. Before she joined the Frank Henke Mode GmbH she worked as a designer for several different fashion companies. As head of design she is an absolute trend scout who is interested in modern art and visionary fashion.

Since the SS12 season, the talented Tilde Bjerregaard has designed Noir’s collections. Tilde has been with Noir since January 2011.

Stephan Pelger was born in Brasov, Romania, and studied at the Fashion Institute in Vienna, where his creative talent was discovered early. After finishing his studies, Stephan worked for the brands Missoni, Schella Kann and DI Vercallo Cashmere.

His innovative approach and breathtaking collections were presented at various national and international fashion shows and fairs. Twice he attended the New York International Fashion Fair “The train” and three times the Prêt-à-Porter Fashion Fair in Paris. In 2009 Stephan took part at the Frankfurt Fashion Show and in January 2011 he presented for the first time his collection “Eisblumen” at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.

The success was absolutely impressive, being described by the media as the “shootingstar” of the Fashion Week. His second collection “En Garde” presented this summer at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin had the same appeal to the public and fashion industry, being a strong validation of his already gained reputation.

ISSEVER BAHRI is a Berlin-based label, founded by Derya Issever and Cimen Bachri in March 2010. Both are graduates of the Fashion Design course at the University of Applied Sciences, HTW Berlin.

During and after their studies Derya Issever and Cimen Bachri worked for various labels in London and Berlin, including Alexander McQueen, Six & Seven Eights for Fashion Fringe, Harriet’s Muse, Michael Michalsky, Boss, SAI SO and Macqua.

In July 2010 ISSEVER BAHRI’ s debut collection for S/S 2011 was launched during the Berlin fashion fair PREMIUM where the label was awarded the annual initiated PREMIUM “Young Designers Award”. With their third collection they won the second prize of the “ Start Your Fashion Business” Award in July 2011.

ISSEVER BAHRI stands for innovative fashion. The conceptual and experimental approach to their collections is combined with wearability, longevity and a high standard of quality in materials, workmanship and fit. Thereby it is important for Derya Issever and Cimen Bachri to look at traditions found in their root countries, Greece and Turkey. For ISSEVER BAHRI the work approach is to combine traditions with modern style and techniques to generate a new standard. They translate classical approaches in handcrafted techniques, materials and pattern cutting according to each collection concept. This is then fused into a modern context of uncompromising aesthetics.

To combine tradition and true craftsmanship with modern design, together with the constant examination of their own origins, that is the aspiration of ISSEVER BAHRI
