MUSE, MODEL, MANIAC, the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection is an homage to the style icons and it-girls of the 50’s and 60’s: Confident, extraordinary and sensual.

Different styles developed in a new fusion. The look of perfection, which used to be over the top, gets a modern twist.

Urban and sexy. Always with a hint of nonchalance. Clean, simple silhouettes are not tried too hard but simply elegant. The look is sensual, cool and chic at once. Patterns, woven fabrics, shiny lurex, tweed and wool fabrics meet structured silk qualities. The classy silhouette gets a new style by posh accents.

The icon-like rush of colours gives an exclusive statement to the collection. The main colours are: black, midnight-blue, deep green and natural shades of brown, highlighted with bronze and gold.

DIMITRI’s autumn/winter 2011 collection is characterised by a skilful mix of subtle, unfussy shapes and playful, yet understated details such as pleats.

Many of Dimitri’s dresses are inspired by the 1970s. Some are made of silk chiffon, others of leather; some are long and dramatic, others short and sexy – but they all lend the woman wearing them an appealing feminine allure. He uses only materials of the finest quality such as silk, crêpe de chine, wool and fur, underlining the simple elegance of his designs.

The colours are restrained yet arresting, his use of accessories subtle yet striking. Dimitri likes to play with opposites like hard/soft and innocent/provocative, and his Mediterranean roots are always evident – making his clothes the perfect embodiment of fashion MADE IN ITALY. His designs evoke associations of feminine beauty and lightness, and yet they are always eminently wearable.

A.F. Vandevorst at MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK BERLIN THE AUTUMN/WINTER 2011 COLLECTIONS

As a direct result of dialogues with friends, A.F. Vandevorst took the desires and suggestions from these exchanges of ideas to create a collection called: “A.Friend”, which debuted four seasons ago for Spring/Summer 2010. Designed with the same energy and creativity as the main line, A.Friend is not only more affordable with its focus on jersey compositions and knitwear, but is also available to a larger clientele base as a direct result of strategized price range and distribution.

Brought to life with different types of jersey and wool, designs for the fourth collection, Autumn/Winter 2011 will be presented in a surprising patchwork with subtle variations in colour from over dyeing various shades of heather grey cottons. Fluid double faced viscose rayon adds elegance to dresses and tops, while interlocking wools complete the wardrobe with coats, jackets and pants.

The knitwear is presented through different variations. Lighter knits with silk and leather inserts are comprised of extra fine Merino yarns in sophisticated shades varying from neutrals such as Elephant and Sienna to a more vivid Pepper and Blossom. Heather grey knits are over dyed, which appears from a full colour water print on the interior of a garment. The dye bleeds through to the outside of each knit in an irregular way, which gives the particular effect. And in remaining true to the influence of artist Joseph Beuys and his chalkboards, the over dye print shows lighter patches, almost giving the effect of traces and hints of chalk. Meanwhile, as the season changes from Autumn to Winter, the knits evolve to thicker wool alpaca blends for unisex cardigans and sweaters.

With a continued success, A.Friend is also expanding with shoes and accessories for the Autumn/Winter season. Mirroring the ideas of the A.F. Vandevorst Fetish shoes and accessories line, boots as well as pumps and sneakers will be presented alongside leather belts to be shown over knits. Also reflecting similar concepts to the main line and its use of lingerie, knit tights will be introduced, emulating the concept and design of those presented with the A.F. Vandevorst Nightfall lingerie; further proving A.Friend as a complimentary line.

Miami, FL (January 12, 2011) – A cappella singing sensation Nota, releases both Spanish and English versions of their single, "My Girl (Te Amo)."

After reaching the first and second sales spot on iTunes with their self titled debut album, Nota, and their Christmas EP, Nota’s A Cappella Christmas, one of the most acclaimed a cappella groups releases their own version of the Temptation’s classic "My Girl."

The "My Girl (Te Amo)" video was shot in Puerto Rico and will be released in early February.

Also, on January 17th an exclusive interview with Nota, where the audience and fans will learn about the story behind and the success of these young and talented artists, will be aired on Don Francisco Presenta on the Univision Network.

After all their success in 2010, Nota celebrates the beginning of this new year with the release of their own bilingual version of this all time classic.

Lorenzo Duarte estrena nuevo sencillo y vídeo titulado "Pa’lante y Pa’tras"

Miami, Florida | 12 de enero del 2011 | Media Force Communications – Lorenzo Duarte se luce esta vez por partida doble, estrena su nuevo sencillo acompañado de su vídeo titulado “Pa’lante y Pa’tras", tema que comparte junto a Carlos Lion "The Lazaro" (ex-integrante de Calle Ciega) & el puertorriqueño Charly Zoo (Grupo Da’Zoo).

El sencillo el cual fue producido por el reconocido productor musical Alain Maiki y escrito por Charly, Lion y el mismo Lorenzo, es perteneciente al género urbano/tropical y fusiona diferentes estilos incluyendo el pop electrónico.

En cuanto al vídeo musical, el mismo fue grabado totalmente en alta definición, dirigido por el director Iván Nava y fue grabado en la "ciudad del sol" (Miami). "La idea fundamental de este vídeo es el destacar los detalles de la cultura latinoamericana, en donde podemos re-establecer que los latinos llevamos el movimiento corporal sin importar edad, raza, procedencia e impedimentos", explicó Lorenzo.

Lorenzo agregó estar agradecido con todo el equipo de trabajo y con los medios de comunicación que lo han apoyado durante este año pasado. "Estoy súper contento con el apoyo del público que siempre me acompañó desde mi salida como solista. Por otro lado, el poder compartir con artistas como Lion y Charlie, y experimentar con nuevos ritmos musicales. ¡El crear buena música es lo que me llena!", exclamó el cantautor.

Por su parte, Carlos Lion "The Lazaro" comenta que es interesante el haber compartido en esta producción, esto debido a la fusión musical del tema, de los personajes involucrados, y además expreso estar feliz de haber compartido con la producción. "Es mi primera canción luego de haber cerrado mi ciclo con el grupo Calle Ciega, además fue un vídeo muy divertido de grabar y se que será de gran éxito.", comentó Carlos “The Lazaro”.

Charly Zoo quien integra el grupo Da’Zoo (Sony Music) fue breve y concreto, "Lorenzo es un gran amigo y excelente artista, lo conozco desde que estaba en MDO, estoy contento de participar en este tema que se que nos va a poner a bailar a todos", resaltó Charly.

Lorenzo comienza el 2011 lleno de energía y estará promocionando su nuevo éxito en múltiples países en América Latina.
