The internationally successful fashion company MARC CAIN was founded in 1973 by Helmut Schlotterer, Chairman of the Managing Board. Today, MARC CAIN is a globally active premium brand for women‘s fashion with its own production facilities in Germany. ODEUR was founded in Stockholm in 2006 as a brand experiment, using a specific white, light and clean scent instead of a visual logotype to label the graphic and dramatic, yet playful garments. The first collection included a few t-shirt styles that where distributed amongst a few initial clients in Sweden and Japan.
ODEUR’s designers are Petter Hollström and Gorjan Lauseger. The brand is available worldwide selling jeans, outerwear, accessories and fashion clothing.

Born 1967 in Vienna, Ulli Ehrlich went to work for Daniel Hechter in Paris after graduation from high school and having completed qualifications at the fashion schools of Linz and Vienna (Schloss Hetzendorf). Before entering the family business, she completed a comprehensive professional training at Müller&Sohn in Munich. Following the strategic focus at the time of entering SPORTALM, she was appointed to the design of traditional costumes. Being the creative director for more than 15 years now, she is not only in charge of the various collections but also of the overall marketing operations. With a clear vision and creative and entrepreneurial spirit, she managed to transform the former regional costumes producer SPORTALM to a global player in the fashion industry. Together with her father, Wilhelm Ehrlich, she directs the traditional Tyrolian company located in the famous region of Kitzbühel. In addition Ulli – mother of five – has the support of her husband, Roland Reinmüller, who is also engaged in the family business as head of men’s ski collection.

La 4ta edición de TRANSFASHION se llevará a cabo el jueves 11 de febrero de 2016, a las 8:00 p.m., en el Teatro Ambassador en Santurce.
En esta ocasión, 27 integrantes de las comunidades transexual, transgénero y transformistas previamente seleccionados en un casting presencial y por internet ocuparán la pasarela con piezas de los diseñadores Heriberto Vázquez, Ivelisse Nieves, Jaer Cabán, Javier Arnaldo, Joseph D’Aponte, Juan Colon, Krystalos by Joan Laureano y Arturo Fradas, Lisa Thon, OF Atelier – Orlando López, Pedro Angel Chaluisant, Sonia Bonilla y Sonia Rivera.
La actividad benéfica contará con la animación de la modelo María María y la Miss Universe PR 2016 Kristhielee Yinaira Caride Santiago, un coctel de bienvenida cortesía de The Barefoot Wines, música y presentaciones de varias artistas del transformismo y la interpretación como Amalara Sofía, April Carrión, Cynthia Lee Bright, Eva Flow, Jaime SunFlower, Kayra, Lee Naranjo, Kim Moore, Rochere Mon Cheri, Warhola Pop y Zaira Houston, entre otras.
“TRANSFASHION no solo pretende concienciar sobre las desigualdades en salud que afectan a las personas transexuales y transgénero, sino también el ofrecer un espacio de exposición alterno a nuestras poblaciones”, explicó José Joaquín Mulinelli Rodríguez, director ejecutivo de Coaí, Inc., entidad que organiza la actividad.
Este evento, único en su clase, apoya la gestión de Coaí, Inc., organización sin fines de lucro establecida en 1991, que se dedica a promover la salud y a prevenir enfermedades desde una perspectiva de justicia social y derechos humanos, con énfasis en las personas lesbianas, homosexuales, bisexuales, transgénero, transexuales, queer, questioning e intersexo (LHBTTQQI) en Puerto Rico.

In November 2005 at the tender age of 24, Lena Hoschek set up her own label in a cosy little atelier at the centre of the Old Town of Graz. Ever since, her name has been synonymous with a nostalgic return to traditional tailoring, classic designs and the ultra-feminine hourglass silhouette, without ever being conventional. A self-proclaimed “truffle pig” as far as fabrics are concerned, Hoschek is always on the look-out for sumptuous textiles with a story to tell – a passion she has nurtured ever since she was a little girl. Opulent patterns, exquisite materials and meticulous attention to detail characterise her collections while at the same time epitomising her ethos, which is to value each item of clothing as something timeless and lasting. All Lena Hoschek pieces are lovingly produced with painstaking care at small clothing factories based in Europe.

In 1978 Teheran born Nobieh Talaei grew up surrounded by traditional handcraft and tailoring skills through her grandmother, a dressmaker of nomadic heritage.
At the age of 11, Talaei and her family moved to Berlin, where she studied fashion at Esmod – International University of Art for Fashion. After graduating, she gained merchandising and retail experience at different international fashion and luxury brands. Then she explored the world of interior design, during which she created timeless yet modern environments. These different chapters all helped lay the conceptual and aesthetic foundations for her company NOBI TALAI, which she founded in Berlin in 2015.
