Ewa Herzog has always been in love with fashion. One of her biggest dreams came true when she was able to study at AMD Akademie Mode & Design. After graduating in 2010, she created her own eponymous label EWA HERZOG. Her philosophy: feminine high-fashion that is produced in fair and sustainable conditions. For Ewa Herzog, being in Berlin is more than just an ideal choice of location and facility, but a personal credo as well: "On my label directly you can read Berlin straight under my name, and the entire world comes to this capital to seek inspiration. That is striking to me"

PERRET SCHAAD was established in 2009 by Johanna Perret and Tutia Schaad.

Since the beginning, their collections have been defined by the duo’s obsession for the “modern” and the “beautiful”. Inspired by modern women and their lifestyles, PERRET SCHAAD’s pieces show a unique sensibility for colours, a strong focus on details and the interest in creating outstanding, wearable designs.

Perret and Schaad use valuable quality fabrics with unique fluidity and tactility and combine them harmonically—or in contrast, to achieve their own aesthetic. Keeping an intuitive method in their design process, with inventive draping but also precise cuts, PERRET SCHAAD creates sharp and at the same time sensual silhouettes. Lines and patterns evoke structure, while shapes and volume draw the classic and the new.

PERRET SCHAAD’s look is complete—feminist and elegant, disciplined and free.

Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos is the designer behind the label DIMITRI. The son of a Greek father and an Italian mother graduated from renowned fashion school ESMOD and subsequently finished his “Master of Fashion Design” at Instituto Marangoni Milan.

As early as a child, the 38-year old developed a great affinity to fashion. His fascination for fabrics and cuts was always with him and developed further over the years. Dimitrios worked for well-known designers around the world, such as Jil Sander, Hugo Boss and Vivienne Westwood and is now thrilling international customers and fashion press with his own line DIMITRI.

The label DIMITRI was founded in 2007 and stands for quality, precision and personality. Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos is running his own creative studio and, since 2010, is presenting his collection regularly at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. Dimitrios designs miraculously feminine collections for women who want to stand out from the crowd and are looking for exclusive fashion. ‘I design for women who embody taste, charisma and self-confidence and who also want to radiate this to the outside world’, states the designer himself. Accessories such as bags and jewellery complete his portfolio.

The DIMITRI collection is produced in Italy, evening gowns and couture dresses of the line DIMITRI Atelier are handcrafted in his own studio. The collection can be purchased at selected retailers as well as online on www.bydimitri.com.

In October 2014, DIMITRI was awarded the “Goldene Nase”, a fashion prize for creative design, by Ruth Haber.

Founded in 2013 by the eponymous designer, MARINA HOERMANSEDER is a Berlin-based womenswear label. The young French-Austrian designer?s work represents a bold individualism, combining the finest artisanal sophistication with eccentric yet elegant designs. Upon completing her MA in International Business Administration, the Viennese fashion designer furthered her studies at Berlin?s ESMOD Fashion School and completed further vocational training at London?s Central St. Martins College. After a successful internship at Alexander McQueen and having shown at various international fashion weeks, including the Salon de Cuir in Paris, the Berlin-Dubai Fashion Festival by Goethe Institute, London Graduate Fashion Week, as well as Portugal Fashion Week, in 2014 she debuted her first collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin and the Fashion Scout in London.

DESIGN AND FETISH

MARINA HOERMANSEDER’s collection unites progressive cuts with fetish elements, experimenting with sharp contrasts and playing with the beauty of the unconventional. Precisely fitted leather corsets and intricate closures are combined with delicately flowing fabrics, revealing the individual signature of the designer. With slender silhouettes and subtle details such as leather straps, buckles, gatherings and rivets, Hoermanseder creates an interplay between the avant- garde and ready to wear with her own particular extravagant aesthetic. PASSION AND CRAFTSMANSHIP

For her celebrated designs made of vegetable-tanned, hand-lacquered leather, Marina Hoermanseder draws her inspiration from sources such as 17th century orthopedic corsets, breaking with convention through her aestheticization of the ugly, in turn evoking a distinct allure. All of the pieces in the collection bring together the highest level of craftsmanship with elegance and eccentricity, exhibiting a passion for detail down to the smallest of elements.

XAVI REYES is a fashion label based in Madrid, founded in 2013 by the eponymous designer. During his academic life he worked as a freelace fashion editor for magazines such as Neo2, Tenmag, V Spain, Vanidad or View of the Times.

Currently he’s also working as a creative consulter for Adolfo Dominguez.

Before creating his own label, he graduated from “Escuela de Arte No2, Madrid” and worked at many Spanish fashion houses, later on he continued his education at Central Saint Martins – University of the Arts, London. In 2014, he collaborated with H&M, and performed his first fashion show at the MMOD festival in Murcia.

In February 2015, he debuted at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, and in May he was finalist at the famous contest “Who’s on Next” by Vogue Spain, where he was considered as one of the three best Spanish designers in 2015.

In September 2015, he made his second show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid presenting his Spring/Summer 2016 collection. He was the winner of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent Award given to the best collection of the contest due to “His ability to introduce autobiographical elements on his garments, the great evolution respect to previous works and his great demonstrated potential.” This award offers the opportunity to show the designer’s work at another Mercedes-Benz Fashion platform around the world. Due to this possibility Xavi will present his collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin in January 2016.

Xavi’s unquestionable modern approach to design is deeply rooted in creating new silhouettes largely inspired by youth, unisex world, future, sadness and street culture.
