They create must-have bags and conceptual, feminine, avant-garde clothes. The Berlin-based label was launched with a guerrilla fashion show in front of the Paris department store Colette in 2003.
Since then, KAVIAR GAUCHE has held a successful presence on an international level. The modern interpretation of the evening dress brings KAVIAR GAUCHE increasingly onto the red carpet. Alongside top models such as Nadja Auermann, the musician Florence Welsh from Florence and the machine, as well as the German actress Heike Makatsch are one of KAVIAR GAUCHE’s most regular customers since the label’s very beginning. In addtition to that, Britain’s newest super model, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a new ambassador for the brand.
After the success of the red carpet looks and the following strong demand, KAVIAR GAUCHE launched their first Bridal Couture-Line in January 2009. The new bridal looks for 2011 have been shown during the Fashion Days in Zürich. KAVIAR GAUCHE is a professional cooperation partner of several prestigious companies. Beside collaborations with Swarovski or Dr. Hauschka, KAVIAR GAUCHE teamed up with the traditional shoe manufacturer Ludwig Görtz to create their already third shoe collection “Görtz designed by KAVIAR GAUCHE” for Autumn/Winter 2011.
