Dimitri at MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK BERLIN THE AUTUMN/WINTER 2012 COLLECTIONS

Dimitri Panagiotopoulos studied at the famous ESMOD fashion school. After he graduated from „ISTITUTO MARANGONI“ in Milano with a „Master of Fashion Design“. In 2007 he opened his first store in the center of Meran, South Tyrol. From now on the 33 year old designer also wants to win over stylish women in Germany with exciting, feminine fashion as well as with accessories.

As a child he already developed a great passion for fashion which he never lost since. The designer with Greek and Italian roots worked around the world for well-known labels such as ‘Jil Sander’, ‘Hugo Boss’ and ‘Vivienne Westwood’. Now his focus of interest is to establish his own label ‘Dimitri’ in the world of fashion.

Dimitri is well known for his wonderful women’s clothing. He showed his collection at Vienna Fashion Week 2009 and at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin in January 2010. With great exaltation the collection was well received by journalists, stylists, VIPs and the audience. Since then Dimitri appeared in several publications in German magazines and VIPs love his collection, among others Juliette Lewis and Rachel Bilson.

Latinoamérica "No Podrá Olvidar” a Digital Ninfa La banda puertorriqueña celebra estreno multi-internacional de su sencillo promocional

Miami, Florida | 20 de enero del 2012 | DY Promotions y Media Force Communications – La banda puertorriqueña Digital Ninfa, que el pasado mes de octubre promocionó en la ciudad de Miami su nuevo sencillo musical "No Podrás Olvidar” (Volveré) como un tributo al cantautor José Feliciano, ahora presentará el tema de manera múltiple en varios países de Latinoamérica.

La nueva versión del clásico de Feliciano, elogiada por el mismo cantautor, ya había sido estrenada en emisoras FM y de Internet en Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos. Incluso, se había presentado por algunas emisoras de Latinoamérica. Sin embargo, esta es la primera vez que el tema se difunde de manera múltiple y coordinada a nivel internacional.

"La oportunidad surge gracias a los buenos contactos y amistades que hemos realizado en varios países latinoamericanos. Ese es el caso de México, en donde nuestro tema "Mujer” estuvo por varios meses en rotación en varias emisoras. A partir de eso, se nos sugirió hacer un estreno, no sólo para México, sino en asociación y colaboración con varias emisoras de otros países”, afirmó Alfonso Rivera, tecladista de la agrupación.

I’L CORPS de Next Super Model de Puerto Rico 2012

La tarde del domingo 15 de enero del 2012 se dio cita en el Teatro Georgetti en Santurce la tercera mini competencia I’L CORPS de Next Super Model de Puerto Rico 2012. La competencia dio inicio con un número de apertura montado por el coreógrafo Eleot Cartagena. Los competidores sirvieron de modelos para el desfile de modas de Tommie Hernández con su colección de Bañadores Gitanos del Mar. La misma se caracteriza por combinaciones de varios estampados floreados y abstractos en un mismo bañador, complementados por agremanes, cordones metálicas y otras ornamentaciones que le dan un toque masculino gitano pero chic. Delicados volantes y drapeados mantienen la femineidad que siempre ha caracterizado las colecciones de esta diseñadora con sobre doce años de experiencia. Los colores que predominan son el purpura, crema, rosa viejo.

Luego dio comienzo la competencia de trajes de baños donde todos los competidores utilizaron su creatividad para crear una pieza donde luzcan sus mejores cuerpos. Esta noche se evaluó pasarela, condición física, asimetría, piel y total look. Este trabajo estuvo a cargo de un gran Jurado Diana Vazquez – Diseñadora, Azarel Nadal Top Model de Puerto Rico, Carlos Rodríguez asesor de la legislatura, Vale – Propietario de Vale Salón, Naldo Montañés Diseñador de Modas, Jason Vesant – estilista profesional, Edgardo Virella asesor intelectual de Miss Universe Puerto Rico. Los Ganadores de dicha categorías lo sabran en la noche Preliminar pero le dieron un adelanto de las 4 finalistas de talento de la categoría Next Super Model Petiza 2012, Heyde Castañeda, Francilet Rodríguez, Stephanie Rosali y Jeymarie Feliciano una de ella será la ganadora de la competencia de talento y tendrá un pase directo al cuadro de finalista del Next Super Model 2012. Julia Heuse and Ben Klunker met as students at the prestigious Berlin design school ESMOD and launched their eponymous fashion label after graduating in 2006.
They channel their respective influences into a mens and womenswear label that continues to strike a balance between commercial and conceptual, classic and avant-garde and mixes glamour with a unique Berlin street style.

The interaction of abstract and conceptual ideas between the designers is symbiotic and fuels designs that both challenge conventionality – such as boxy, oversized cuts or draped fabrics in both their designs for women and men – but, importantly, their creations are also flattering. Many of the materials they use have been tie-dyed, bleached, moon-washed or aged to create different effects.

The label was born in the back room of Ben’s art gallery on Torstrasse in Berlin’s bustling art district Mitte. In the beginning of 2011 Julia, who also has always been in charge of all the Art Direction, photography and graphics took over the Label and recently moved to a bigger space on Gormannstrasse which houses the JULIAANDBEN store as well as the atelier of the burgeoning label. JULIAANDBEN also sell globally.
