PERRET SCHAAD ´s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection is a diary of an ambiguous winter.

Hard white softens a landscape of grey pastel stones.

The candid sky seems shy, although provoking layers of pigmented lights.

Pale green shines on satin, while discrete rose mixes in metallic threads. Petrol blues almost fall into deep greens.

PERRET SCHAAD is obsessed with questioning themselves about contrasts and originative coherence in their conception of colours, fabrics and pattern cutting.

They study technical surfaces in plastic lagoon and pretentious red tones, confronting the autumn to the natural and fine touch of wools and rich silks in a pastel palette.

The designers work the cutting and the draping to bring forms into sculpture and fluidity. They challenge volumes and lines, using simplicity with delicacy and insolence.

PERRET SCHAAD contemplates modesty with ambition. They require the finest quality, finding it in innovation as well as in tradition.

The aesthetic of PERRET SCHAAD’s Auntumn/Winter 2011 collection is uncomplicated, the cutting recherché, encouraging a sense of self-interpretation and sensibility to the wearer.

Escada Sport at MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK BERLIN THE AUTUMN/WINTER 2011 COLLECTIONS

`Frozen tales‘….a modern fairy tale for the ESCADA SPORT woman, travelling towards a glacial adventure. She is leaving the stressful city life behind, feeling alive in the nature and letting her senses travel. The Antarctic and its inhabitants inspire her, as well as the colours that ange from ice blue to bright red.

‘Celebration of earth‘ … native winter garments symbolize that the passing of time is inevitable. Therefore a touch of craft and fantasy is urgently needed. In this first delivery earthy colours with a popping red create easy but at the same time strong looks. The relaxed silhouettes and elaborate jacquards give depth and a handmade artisan feeling.

In the beginning Lala Berlin was all about high-end knitwear. Meanwhile it is precisely the casual urban chic based on a wide range of materials and innovative cuts that define the label’s signature style. From a mere vision Leyla Piedayesh turned Lala Berlin into an up-and-coming Berlin-based fashion brand and then into an internationally acclaimed top brand.

In 2004, she presented her first collection at the Premium Fashion Trade Show. Her clear-cut knitwear designs with innovative details earned her a large following and set the tone for Lala Berlin’s casual feminine style. With her nomination for the New Generation Award at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2007 the designer proved her ability to serve the whole spectrum – including high-end evening gowns and a full-fledged ready-to-wear collection. In 2009 Leyla Piedayesh launched the exclusive sub-label Atelier Lala Berlin, a separate premium collection entirely manufactured by hand.

The label cemented its cult status through bold experiments with unconventional accessoiries, expressive patterns and prints. Whatever carries the Lala Berlin label – all designs always bear Leyla Piedayesh’s signature and reflect her personal sense of colours, forms and silhouettes. General trends, though borne in mind, are assimilated to turn "zeitgeist" into timeless creations made from cashmere, silk, fine cotton or soft jersey.

The colour ranges from delicate beige, to metallic-rose and copper, up to sensual black and subtle white – is perfectly adapted to the glamour look.

Using techniques such as draping and ruffling, the designer makes women feel like goddess in precious silk, velvet leather stripes and luxurious metal mesh.

MUSE, MODEL, MANIAC, the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection is an homage to the style icons and it-girls of the 50’s and 60’s: Confident, extraordinary and sensual.

Different styles developed in a new fusion. The look of perfection, which used to be over the top, gets a modern twist.

Urban and sexy. Always with a hint of nonchalance. Clean, simple silhouettes are not tried too hard but simply elegant. The look is sensual, cool and chic at once. Patterns, woven fabrics, shiny lurex, tweed and wool fabrics meet structured silk qualities. The classy silhouette gets a new style by posh accents.

The icon-like rush of colours gives an exclusive statement to the collection. The main colours are: black, midnight-blue, deep green and natural shades of brown, highlighted with bronze and gold.

DIMITRI’s autumn/winter 2011 collection is characterised by a skilful mix of subtle, unfussy shapes and playful, yet understated details such as pleats.

Many of Dimitri’s dresses are inspired by the 1970s. Some are made of silk chiffon, others of leather; some are long and dramatic, others short and sexy – but they all lend the woman wearing them an appealing feminine allure. He uses only materials of the finest quality such as silk, crêpe de chine, wool and fur, underlining the simple elegance of his designs.

The colours are restrained yet arresting, his use of accessories subtle yet striking. Dimitri likes to play with opposites like hard/soft and innocent/provocative, and his Mediterranean roots are always evident – making his clothes the perfect embodiment of fashion MADE IN ITALY. His designs evoke associations of feminine beauty and lightness, and yet they are always eminently wearable.
