The ZOE ONA brand, which was founded only two years ago, is currently in the process of carving out its own niche in the market with its ladies’ urban outerwear collections with “original luxury”. This young company supported by over 70 renowned retailers in Germany and Austria is already recording profits. The concept consisting of “refined simplicity”, first-class materials and high-quality traditional manufacture in Europe is finding new fans every day. “Textilwirtschaft“ declared ZOE ONA as “Label to Watch” for 2013. Andrada Ona’s view of fashion has developed from a life lived between very different cultures and roles. She was born in Romania but has been living for many years in Cologne, where she worked as a doctor until the founding of her label. Ona is the mother of two children. She named her brand after her daughter Zoe.

If one were to condense the philosophy of “A DEGREE FAHRENHEIT” into a simple formula, it would be this: enriching the uniqueness of the individual. Yu Amatsu spent several years in New York working as a pattern maker for Marc Jacobs and Jen Kao, and during this time he developed a keen sense for sophisticated decoration and sensual textures. His latest collection was dedicated to the number 1292. 1292 degrees Fahrenheit is the point at which glass begins to melt, and Yu Amatsu took this moment of transition from sharp material to a fluid state as his inspiration. Entirely in white, his designs catch the eye with their flowing, unusual silhouettes, which contrast with angular cut-outs and delicate mesh inlays. Yu Amatsu’s designs claimed the grand prize in the Gen Art International Competition for two consecutive years, and the talented Japanese designer from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo is now displaying his latest collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.
